Memories of San Pedro is a project that investigates the relationship between the plant world and the forms of production and reading of images. This first collection arises from a process in which fragments of 35mm photographic film were buried in a pot where the Andean cactus San Pedro grows. These images are the result of the reaction between the photochemical support and the soil and are presented as the visual representation of the ancestral memory that the plant gives to us.
This project will be presented at the Feria del Millón 2021 in Bogota: https://feriadelmillon.com/
